To craft Budweiser Select, brewmasters start with two-row barley, impeccably roasted specialty malts and a hand-picked blend of the finest American and Bavarian hops.

A German "Dunkel" (dark) brewed as a Lager with Two Row Malt, Munich Malt and some Roasted Malts. Spiced up with German Hops from the Hallertau and a German Lager Yeast gives this Brew a nice dunkel (dark) color and some Malt sweetness with a nice finish of balanced Hops and a little chocolaty tast for the finish.

Bavarian Style Wheat Beer. This beer has a large popularity in particular in southern Germany. Using an original German yeast strain in the brewing process contributes to the natural fruity flavor of Banana, Orange and Cloves, giving it a outstanding refreshing taste. Our Wheat Beer comes unfiltered leaving all the natural goodness in it.

Light-golden in color with subtle notes of citrus, this low-carb American-style light lager is made from 2-row Munich malts and European Select hops giving it a clean, refreshing body and finish.

Born of a flood and centuries-old Belgian text, 1554 Enlightened Black Ale uses a light lager yeast strain and dark chocolaty malts to redefine what dark beer can be. In 1997, a Fort Collins flood destroyed the original recipe our researcher, Phil Benstein, found in the library. So Phil and brewmaster, Peter Bouckaert, traveled to Belgium to retrieve this unique style lost to the ages. Their first challenge was deciphering antiquated script and outdated units of measurement, but trial and error (and many months of in-house sampling) culminated in 1554, a highly quaffable dark beer with a moderate body and mouthfeel.

As part of an equity investment in the Redhook Ale Brewery in Seattle, Anheuser-Busch wholesalers have distributed Redhook's superior microbrewery products since 1994 in select U.S. markets. Named in honor of our founder Jeff's bike trip through Belgium, Fat Tire Amber Ale marks a turning point in the young electrical engineer's home brewing. Belgian beers use a far broader pallet of ingredients (fruits, spices, esoteric yeast strains) than German or English styles. Jeff found the Belgian approach freeing. Upon his return, Jeff created Fat Tire and Abbey Belgian Ale, (assuming Abbey would be his big gun). He and his wife, Kim traveled around sampling their homebrews to the public. Fat Tire's appeal quickly became evident. People liked everything about it. Except the name. Fat Tire won fans in its sense of balance: toasty, biscuit-like malt flavors coasting in equilibrium with hoppy freshness.
